All our services are free, confidential and delivered online across the UK, in Romanian and seven other languages.
Free helpline
Our freephone line, 0800 098 2730, is free to call from any phone in the UK. You can speak to us in Romanian, Romani or English. We listen, we believe you, and we help you decide what to do next.
IDVA support, one to one
Our support is led by a qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor and follows recognised professional standards. We carry out DASH risk assessments, build a safety plan with you, and stay with you for as long as you need.
Advocacy with the authorities
We speak on your behalf with police, councils, NHS and children's services — so you don't have to face it alone.
MARAC and safeguarding referrals
High-risk cases are referred to the local Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) to ensure your safety is coordinated across services.
Legal referrals
We connect you with accredited solicitors for immigration matters, child arrangements, divorce and other legal needs.
Emotional support and community
Every Thursday at 7pm we run an online emotional support session in Romanian, and our community WhatsApp group is a safe place to ask questions and not feel alone.
Interpreting and translation
We provide interpreting and translation in Romanian, English, Greek, Spanish and French.

Romanian nationals living in the UK
With over 1.4 million Romanian nationals living in the UK, Romanian is the third most spoken language after English and Polish. Yet Romanian survivors of domestic abuse remain significantly underserved by existing services. At Lotus Justice & Support Centre CIC, we provide culturally sensitive, Romanian-language support that bridges this gap. We address barriers like language, fear of immigration consequences, distrust of authorities — and we are here to help.

Support for Romanian-speaking survivors of domestic abuse across the UK
Lotus Justice & Support Centre CIC is the first Romanian-led organisation in the UK focused on domestic abuse and violence against women and girls. We provide free, confidential support in Romanian, Romani and English, and we work alongside councils, police, solicitors and frontline services in every local authority.
