If you enrol on our free CPD course, we also collect your professional role and organisation to issue your certificate.

To respond to your enquiry or referral — lawful basis: legitimate interests (providing support services).

To issue CPD certificates — lawful basis: performance of a contract (course enrolment).

Your data is stored securely on UK-based servers. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. Only authorised staff and volunteers who need the data to provide services can access it.

We retain contact enquiry data for 12 months, then securely delete it unless you have an ongoing case with us.

With your explicit consent, we may refer you to partner organisations (solicitors, specialist services, local authorities) to support your case. We will always tell you before making a referral.

We may be required to share data with statutory authorities (police, social services) where there is an immediate risk to life. We will inform you of this unless doing so would put you or others at risk.
